Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI) Department Students Achieve Achievements in the FBSB Outstanding Student Selection
UNY, Monday (4/3) Faculty of Language, Arts, and Culture of Yogyakarta State University has successfully held the Selection of Outstanding Students (Pilmapres) in 2024 at Muh. Yamin Building. The selection took place in several stages that had begun at the study program level.
Previously, on Wednesday (28/2) in Muh. Yamin Building, 3rd floor, there was an assessment of 23 outstanding student candidates representing various study programs, namely English Language Education, Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI), Indonesian Literature, English Literature, French Language Education, Javanese Language Education, German Language Education, Fine Arts Education, Dance Education, Craft Education, and Music Education. From the intense selection process, 5 finalists were selected to compete in the second stage of selection.
The second stage of selection which took place at Muh Yamin Building lt. 1 included several aspects of assessment, including presentation of creative ideas, character, superior achievements/portfolio, and interviews. The judges involved in the assessment process were leading experts and academics at FBSB UNY.
The PBSI Department is very proud because three of the five students selected are students from the PBSI Department, namely: 1) Darmastuti Eka Hardiyanti from English Education as the 1st Champion with a score of 68.46; 2) Intan Latifah Nuratmojo from Indonesian Language and Literature Education as the 2nd Champion with a score of 66.46; 3) M. Mico Nopriansyah from German Language Education as the 3rd Champion with a score of 64.97; 4) Sabbih Fadhillah Saputri from Indonesian Literature as the 1st Honorable Champion with a score of 61.60; and 5) Irodatul Hasanah from Indonesian Language and Literature Education as the 2nd Honorable Champion with a score of 59.77. These five champions will receive coaching money, trophies, and certificates. The administrative process related to the provision of coaching money will be done after all administrative documents and procedures are completed.
The PBSI Department hopes that this annual activity will be not only searching for students with academic achievements, but also those who have the character, creativity, and potential to make a positive contribution to society.
